BECOME A MENTOR WITH CCSSM

All it takes to be a CCSSM mentor, is a commitment to spend approximately two hours a week with your 'mentee' over a 10-12 week program.

Requirements to become a mentor

• A positive attitude and;

• A valid Working With Children's number (volunteer or paid)​http://www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/child-safe-organisations/working-with-children-check/apply

• Complete the application form below

What can Mentors do?

• Listen

• Assist with goal setting

• Help students recognise their strengths

• Be a sounding board for ideas and problems

• Make contact with employers

• Suggest possible courses of action.
